Human Trafficking 101: U.S. State Dept. Explains Impact of Trafficking Victims Protection Act
Shonnie Ball, lead interagency entity liaison, U.S. State Dept. Office to Monitor and Combat Trafficking, said the three “p” framework–prosecution, protection and prevention–as outlined in the Trafficking Victims Protection Act is needed in order to adequately address human trafficking.
Ball was a panelist for the Judicial Division program “Human Trafficking 101″ at the 2013 Midyear Meeting in Dallas.
