HHS Official Praises ABA for Refusing to Remain Silent on “Vile Scourge” of Human Trafficking
George Sheldon, asst. secretary for children and families, U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services, keynotes “Lawyering for Child Victims of Human Trafficking” during the ABA Midyear Meeting in Dallas. The program was organized by ABA entities including Commission on Youth at Risk, Commission on Homelessness and Poverty, and the Center on Children and the Law, as well as Children at Risk in Houston.
