Former Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison Welcomes ABA House of Delegates to Dallas
The ABA’s role is to keep the integrity and public’s trust of the nation’s legal system and ensure the quality of judges, said former U.S. Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-Tex.) during her welcome remarks to ABA House of Delegates at the 2013 Midyear Meeting in Dallas. Without the rule of law and an independent judiciary, there can be no democracy, she said.
