Incoming ABA President Laurel Bellows: “Lawyers Matter”
ABA President-Elect Laurel Bellows, who becomes ABA president at the conclusion of the 2012 ABA Annual Meeting, spoke at the ABA House of Delegates and said “lawyers matter” when it comes to ensuring justice and liberty. She said the ABA would marshal its resources to fight human trafficking, ensure gender equity, preserve the right to civil jury trials and tighten cyber security.
