ABA Policy-Making Body Postpones Action on Fee Splitting
After considerable debate, the ABA House of Delegates postponed indefinitely action on Resolution 10A. The measure would have reaffirmed current association policy prohibiting lawyers from sharing legal fees with non-lawyers and from indirectly transferring to non-lawyers ownership or control over entities practicing law.
