Assistant Professor at Phoenix School of Law Receives 2011 Young Lawyers Professionalism Award

Keith Swisher, Associate Dean of Faculty Development and Assistant Professor at the Phoenix School of Law, is the 2011 recipient of the Rosner & Rosner Young Lawyers Professionalism Award.   His contributions to the profession include teaching, scholarship, pro bono defense, speaker and panelist.  He serves as a member of the Arizona Committee on the Rules of Professional Conduct, the Ninth Circuit Criminal Justice Act Panel representing indigent criminal defendants on appeal, the State Bar of Arizona Professionalism Committee, and the Editorial Boards of Arizona Attorney and the ABA/BNA Lawyers’ Manual on Professional Conduct.  He has a Master of Laws from Harvard Law School and Juris Doctor from Arizona State University College of Law.  The award was presented during the 2011 NABE/NCBP/NCBF Annual Awards Luncheon in Toronto.

The Rosner & Rosner Young Lawyers Professionalism Award recognizes and encourages young lawyers who are dedicated to lawyer professionalism. The award is supported by the ABA Rosner and Rosner Justice Fund and administered by the ABA Center for Professional Responsibility with assistance from the ABA Young Lawyers Division.
