Richard E. Friedman receives the Morris I. Leibman Award in National Security Law

Harvey Rishikof (L), chair of the American Bar Association’s Standing Committee on Law and National Security presents a specially commissioned work of art to honoree Richard E. Friedman. Mr. Friedman, the American Bar Association’s Standing Committee Counselor and President of the National Strategy Forum, a think tank that analyses national security risks, received the 2011 Morris I. Leibman Award in National Security Law.

The award was given on May 6 in Washington, DC. Leibman was a lawyer who helped found the forum and who earned the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
