ABA President: Extraordinary Circumstances Call for Extraordinary Response
The American Bar Association took unusual action when it filed an amicus brief with the U.S. District Court for Arizona asking the court to prevent enforcement of the state’s immigration legislation signed into law in April by Gov. Jan Brewer. ABA President Carolyn Lamm explains why filing the brief at this level was important.
