ABA Committee: Kagan “Well-Qualified”

The American Bar Association Standing Committee on the Federal Judiciary has rated U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice nominee Elena Kagan “well-qualified” for that position. That is the highest possible rating the committee can bestow.

The standing committee — independent of the association — reviews the integrity, professional competence and judicial temperament of all nominees to the federal courts, including those nominated to the U.S. Supreme Court.
